Getting started
How long does it take?
Most sites are live within a week of getting your logo, photos and info. Bigger custom sites take two to three weeks.
I already have a website. Can you take it over?
Yes. We move your domain across and rebuild the site to be fast and mobile-friendly.
I don't have a logo or good photos.
Very common. We can design a simple logo (see the custom plan) and help you take decent phone photos, or use quality stock images to start.
Pricing & billing
Is there a setup fee?
Not on Starter: you just pay R250 a month. Pro has a once-off R4 000 setup fee, which covers setting up premium hosting, online booking, user accounts, the newsletter, priority support and the 5 extra pages. Add-ons in a custom plan carry the same setup fees.
What does a change cost?
Anything you can do in the editor is free, as often as you like. Changes the editor can't do, like new sections or layout changes, are R250/hour. Or add monthly edits to a custom plan: R100/month per edit (1 edit = 1 hour), up to 5. Unused edits don't roll over.
How do I pay?
By EFT or debit order, invoiced monthly in rand.
What if I need more later?
Upgrade from Starter to Pro or a custom plan anytime. You only pay the difference.
Ownership
Can I own my website?
Yes. Every plan has a buyout value: R5 400 plus 3× your once-off cost (so R5 400 on Starter). Pay that and the website is yours. Or host with us for 12 months and it's yours for free.
Is my website POPIA compliant?
Yes. Every website we build comes with our POPIA pack for free: a privacy policy, a cookie notice, and consent checkboxes on your forms.
Do I own my domain?
Yes. It is registered in your name. If you ever leave, it goes with you.
Technical
Does my site go down during load-shedding?
No. Your site runs in data centres with backup power, not on a computer in someone's office.
Can I edit the site myself?
Yes. Every Starter site comes with an admin panel where you can change text, photos and prices, and see your visitor analytics.
How quickly do you respond?
Within 3 business days on Starter. Add priority support (R50/month) for replies within 2 days.
Can customers book appointments online?
Yes. Add online booking to a custom plan: R500 once-off setup, then R100/month.
Can I have a digital menu?
Yes. A menu or price list you update yourself, plus a QR code for your tables or counter, for R25/month. Add it on Starter with one switch, or in a custom plan. It comes with Pro.
Can my site be in more than one language?
Yes. Each extra language is R25/month.
